Season 1 | Episode 6: The big and the small

WaPo Berlin

Crime, Germany 2020

The Public Order Office has asked Berlin's Water Police, or WaPo for short, for help. They are to support the colleagues at the Landwehr Kanal in evicting homeless people from their camp. Not the nicest of jobs that Paula Sprenger and Wolf Malletzke have undertaken. Once there, Paula discovers that Ruth, a homeless person known to her and who had a regular place to sleep here, has disappeared. Paula and Jasmin get in touch with Ruth's daughter Ida Maroth, a local politician, who apparently has the best chances of landing the position of Social Senator. But as it turns out, mother and daughter haven't seen each other for years. When suddenly the corpse of a woman and traces of blood are found at Ruth's sleeping place, everyone fears the worst…
